Influencer discount codes: track sales even without a link
The code mentioned in a story, finally counted.
Most followers don't click the link: they remember the code and type it at checkout. With AffiliateTracker every order placed with an influencer's code is attributed to them, even without a click.
Without the code, many sales stay invisible.
An influencer talks about your store in a story or a video. Buyers often skip the link: they open your site later, maybe on another device, and use the code.
Underpaid influencers
If you only count clicks, people who sell through their code look like they sell nothing. You risk dropping your best partners.
Spreadsheets every month
Pulling the orders for each code and matching them against links is slow, and mistakes end up in payouts.
Double commissions
When a customer uses one affiliate's link and another's code, without a clear rule you pay twice for the same order.
One code per influencer, in three steps.
You assign it from the dashboard; the store module and the platform do the rest.
Give the influencer a code
Pick the influencer and type the code. If it already exists in your store we link it and keep your discount; otherwise we create it, as a percentage or a fixed amount.
The customer uses the code
At checkout the code applies the discount as usual. The order is attributed to the influencer even if they never clicked their link.
Commission and influencer area
The commission follows the order status: cancelled if the order is returned. The influencer sees their code and orders in your store's customer account.
Commission or count only, code by code.
Not every code is the same: some pay the influencer, others are just for measuring.
The code pays the influencer.
- Every order with the code earns them their percentage.
- The code beats the link: if the customer came through another affiliate's link, the order goes to the code's owner.
- One commission per order, never two.
The code measures, it doesn't pay.
- Useful for flat-fee or product-based partnerships.
- The influencer sees how many orders their code brought, without amounts.
- If the order also came through an affiliate's link, it stays with them and their commission.
Past orders too.
When you link a code you were already using, you don't start from zero.
Recovery of this year's orders
When you link the code, the store sends the orders placed with it since 1 January and the platform attributes them on its own, in a few minutes.
Reversible
If the recovery doesn't look right, undo it in one click: orders go back to how they were.
Safe mode changes
Switching from commission to count only sets the code's commissions to zero right away; the dashboard tells you before you confirm.
Filter and export
In the dashboard you filter orders by code and export them to CSV, with the code in its own column.
Questions about discount codes.
Do I have to create the codes in my store?
No. If the code already exists we link it as it is; if not, the module creates it with the discount you choose.
What if the customer uses both a link and a code?
In commission mode the order goes to the code's influencer; in count-only mode it stays with the link's affiliate. Either way, one commission.
Does it work on WooCommerce?
Yes. With the WooCommerce plugin the code becomes a store coupon, or is linked to the one you already have, just like with the PrestaShop module.
Can the influencer see their orders?
Yes, in your store's customer account: the code, the orders and, if the code earns commission, how much they made.
